We’re so excited you’re joining us to celebrate at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Whether you’re a seasoned Disney pro or it’s your first time since the paper-ticket days — here are a few tips to make the most of your trip (and keep the magic stress-free).
DISNEY TIPS & TRICKS
🎟️ Tickets & Park Plans
Buy your tickets early — prices fluctuate, and popular dates can sell out.
You don’t need separate park reservations with dated tickets, but double-check before you go.
Staying a few extra days? Multi-day tickets usually drop the per-day cost, so it’s worth it if you’re making a mini-vacation out of it.
🕓 Timing & Crowds
Arrive early (a.k.a. “rope drop”) — that’s Disney speak for showing up before the park officially opens. You’ll get the best photos and the shortest lines.
Evenings are calmer and way more atmospheric — fireworks, lights, snacks, all the vibes.
February weather in Orlando is usually mild — sunny days around the 60-70s °F and cooler nights. Bring a light jacket and comfy shoes!
📱 The My Disney Experience App
Your Disney BFF. Download it before you go! It lets you:
Check ride wait times
Order food ahead (seriously, lifesaver)
Find restrooms, PhotoPass spots, and show schedules
Make Genie+ and Lightning Lane selections
Keep all your tickets, dining, and park info in one place
🍴 Dining & Snacks
Reservations open 60 days in advance — and some popular spots (Be Our Guest, Space 220, Cinderella’s Royal Table) go fast.
If you can’t snag a sit-down meal, Disney’s mobile order is your best friend for quick service — skip the lines and grab Dole Whip like a pro. 🍦
Pro snack tip: Mickey pretzels, churros, and popcorn buckets are must-dos. Trust us, calories don’t count at Disney.
🚍 Getting Around
All Disney resorts offer complimentary transportation — buses, monorail, and Skyliner (the cute flying gondolas you’ll see zipping around).
If you’re staying off-property, Uber or Lyft makes it super easy to get to the BoardWalk area and parks.
Give yourself extra time when traveling between parks or resorts — buses can take a bit longer than you think.
🛍️ Shopping & Souvenirs
If you’re staying at a Disney resort, you can ship purchases back to your hotel so you’re not hauling Mickey ears on Space Mountain.
Disney Springs (no park ticket required) is full of shops, restaurants, and live entertainment — a perfect rest-day activity.
💫 A Little Extra Pixie Dust
Celebration buttons — grab a free “I’m Celebrating” or “Happily Ever After” button at Guest Services and wear it proudly!
PhotoPass photographers are stationed all over — even if you don’t buy Memory Maker, they’ll take photos for you.
Fireworks: Magic Kingdom over Cinderella Castle and EPCOT’s Luminous show are must-sees.
